What is CBT?

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is generally time limited and focuses on your specific problem.  It usually takes less time than other therapies and consequently incurs less cost to you. Both client and therapist work together to devise a programme of work and assignments which can be put into practice both with-in and outside session times. This programme aims to inform you about the interaction between thought, feeling and behaviour with the aim of empowering you to become your own therapist.

 

Therapy is best suited for  those suffering from panic, obsessions and compulsions, mood swings, low mood, anxiety, stress, anger management and depression, problems at work , post traumatic stress disorder and addictions . It can also be of help in relationship problems and marital break up.
